The Self-Book scheduler allows visitors to search for available times/dates on Reservations, Suggestions, open Appointments, or Group Signups on your calendar without having to display your entire calendar and contents. Visitors can pick an available day in your calendar and then see a list of available times on that day that they can book. Please see the image below:
The "Self-Book" scheduler can be added as a link to your website or social media like Facebook, or you can embed the scheduler in your website.
Enabling the "Self-Book" scheduler
To turn on a Self-Book scheduler for your calendar, you will need to go to the "Customize" screen. There you can choose which of your Self-Book templates you want to turn into a scheduler. Please note that you will need to save your changes before the scheduler is active. Follow the steps in the image below:
Once you have turned on the Self-Book scheduler for your chosen template, you will then see two links display below your drop-down menu. Once is a link that you can copy and paste anywhere, one is the embed code that you can copy and paste into the HTML section of your website. This code allows the scheduler to appear as part of your webpage.
If you are using the "Book an appointment" or "Group Signup" templates, you'll need to create empty events with the Self-Book template of your choice to book on your calendar. The "Suggest an Event" and "Make a Reservation" templates will allow visitors to book any available times in your calendar without having to first create an event for them to book.
You can combine this with availability scheduling to limit when visitors book events on your calendar.
