Any Event Tags or Overlays that you add to your calendar will appear in the Navigator in your calendar. You can choose to turn overlays off and tags off so that you can filter your calendar for the events that you want to see. There's also an option to choose what tags and overlays are on or off by default every time that you or visitors loads your calendar. To chose what tags and overlays are on by default, follow the steps in the image below:
