As part of your default Self-Book templates, you have a template named "Add Text Reminder." This template allows you to easily add a text reminder to a specific event in your calendar. To learn how to add a text reminder to your event follow the steps in the image below:
You do not have to have purchased Self-Book in order to send text reminders to others. You can send text reminders regardless of whether you have a free Basic account or a paid Solo or Team plan. All that limits your ability to send text messages for appointments is how many credits you have in your account.
How many monthly credits you have will be determined by what kind of account you have. The leftover messages you have not used for the month will not be rolled over to the next month. If you run out of text message credits you do have the option of purchasing more. These additional text credits will not run out at the end of the month and they will continue to stay in your account until you have used them. Learn more about how many credits your account has.
By default, two text reminders are set to be sent out 1 day before your event and 1 hour before your event. If you want to change the reminder schedule you'll need to edit the template to change how many reminders are sent and when they are sent.
