“Task Tags” are tags that you can assign to tasks in your To Do Lists in order to label and color code them. Tags help you to visually link together similar tasks very quickly. These tags are consistent through your Keep&Share account and can be found in your Files, Addresses, and Calendar applications as well.

All tags are created in the Calendar application and you can assign a unique color or an icon to each tag. When you apply a tag to your tasks, your tasks will appear with the color and icon that you've chosen for your tag. Since the same tags appear in your Files, Addresses, and Calendar applications, these tags allow you to visually link items across applications. The total number of task tags depends on what type of account you have.

Note: You can only assign one task tag per task.

Follow the steps below to learn how to add a tag to your tasks:

You can also assign a tag to your tasks when you are editing them. To edit your tasks, you will first need to click on the task that you want to assign a tag to. Follow the steps below:

Using gold stars

Just like with other Keep&Share applications (such as Documents, Photo Albums, etc.) you can highlight Tasks with gold stars. Gold stars allow you to mark certain tasks as “Important” without having to assign a priority level. When you mark a Task with a gold star, it will not change the order of your Tasks unlike when you mark a Task with a priority level. Gold stars are the only tag that is automatically available to your tasks without you having to create that tag in your Calendar application.

By using gold stars you can draw attention to specific Tasks in your list without changing the order of your list.

Sorting your Tasks by Tags

You can also sort your tasks by the tag that you've assigned to them. This allows you to see groups of similar tasks without having to manually drag and drop the tasks into order. Follow the steps in the image below:

Any tag that is created in your Calendar application will automatically show up in your Files, Addresses, and To Do List applications. If you don't want certain tags to show up in your addresses, you can turn them off in the “Customize” screen for your To Do List. See the image below:
