If you want to create several related calendars in your account, it can be helpful to copy some of the calendar settings from one calendar in your account to another. In the "Customize" screen for your calendar, you can copy almost all of the settings from one of the calendars in your account. Settings that will automatically be copied from your selected calendar are found in the "Customize calendar views" tab, the “Event display options” tab, the Free/Busy the Show Read-Only Events features from the "Who can see my calendar?" tab, the “Self-Book” options tab, and the "Set up default reminders" tab.
You also will have the option of copying these three settings:
- Legend settings
- Month note settings
- Color theme settings
- Custom color themes
- Custom event color settings
- Overlay configuration
- Event tag display settings
You can choose any or all three of these settings to copy from another calendar in your account.
Settings that will not be copied are:
- Enable auto-refresh of the calendar
- Manage Side-by-Side View
- Receive agendas via email
- Prevent local events & day notes
First, you will need to choose the calendar in your account that you want to copy another calendar's settings to. Once you are in that calendar, click on the “Customize” button in the blue bar above your calendar.
