There are two different ways that you can start a new Discussion in your account: by using the “New” command in your Discussion application or by using the “Start Discussion” feature in the blue bar at the top of your account screen. When you use either of these “New Discussion” commands, all of the Discussions that you create will still end up in your “Discussions” application.
Using the blue "New" command
When you click on the “Discussions” tab on the left-hand side of the screen, you will be taken to the Discussion application where all of your Discussions are listed. At the top of this application, you will see that there is a blue “New” icon. To create a new Discussion, all you need to do is click on that command and follow the steps in the image below:
Using the “Start Discussion” link
There is a “Start Discussion” link that is always available in the blue bar at the top of the screen, no matter what part of your account you are in. At any time you can click on this link to see a pop-up dialog to create a new Discussion. The advantage of using this command is that it is easy and always accessible. You can also go ahead and choose the people you want to be part of your Discussion.
