Keywords are labels that you can create and assign to each of the photos in your Photo Library or Photo Album. Keywords can be useful when you are searching through your account for specific photos.
Each uploaded Photo exists just once in your account in the Photo Library. Once a Photo is in your library, it can be placed in as many albums as you like. If you have added a keyword to a photo in your Photo Library and then you add that photo to a Photo Album, the keywords that you have added to your photo will still show up in the Photo Album. You can also edit your Photo Album and change the keyword for the photo as it appears in your Photo Album.
Adding keywords to photos in your Photo Library
You can add keywords to individual photos, or to entire batches of photos. First, you will need to access your Photo Library. To do this follow the steps in the image below:

To add keywords to whole batches of photos in your Photo Library, you will first need to select the photos you want to add keywords to and then click on the blue “Add Keywords” icon. If you are looking to add a new keyword, you will need to first add that keyword to an individual photo in your Photo Library before it will appear in your keyword list when you are using the “Add Keywords” feature.
