It’s easy to have your blogs, emails, or web pages point to any stored Photo or Photo Album in your account. For every Photo or Photo Album that you create in your account, Keep&Share automatically generates a link for that item. At any time you can copy that link and post it anywhere that you choose. Follow the steps in the images below to copy the link for your Photos and Photo Albums.
Creating Links to your Photo Albums
At the bottom of your Photo Album, you'll notice that there are two URL options. The first is the main URL link which looks like an average website link. The second URL, the short URL, is also available for copying. Click in the gray box with the link to copy it to your computer's clipboard for reuse.
The short URL is a shorter version of the first URL listed. We give you a shorter URL option because sometimes short URLs are easier to work with. For social media services that have limited characters such as Twitter, short URLs give you the ability to post links using as few characters as possible. Short URLs are also easier to use in emails. Sometimes if a longer URL is split into two lines on an email the URL can lead to the wrong address as part of the link has been cut off.
Creating Links to your Photos
When you copy a link to a photo you have the option of choosing from three different size options: Large, Medium, and Small. These Photo sizes are the same sizes that are available when inserting uploaded Photos throughout your Keep&Share account.
To learn more about how to link to Photos and Photo Albums in your account, please visit the Keep&Share Developer site.
Notice in the “Link Type” drop-down menu that there are two other link type options listed. Both of these options concern embedding Photos in other websites.
