Yes! You can Import and Export a copy of your data from other calendars using .KCS, .ICS and .CSV calendar file formats. You can use the Import and Export features to transfer, copy and back up all or a part of the information in a given calendar. This feature is also ideal for transferring calendar information both from and into calendar programs other than Keep&Share.

This method will let you share a “snapshot” of your calendar at the time of export that can be viewed by others in other calendar programs (which is why it's ideal for backups). For live, continuous transfers of calendar data so that the exported calendar stays up to date in the other program, visit live iCalendar feeds solutions page.

How to use these different calendar formats:

Keep&Share calendar files (.KCS)

A .KCS file is a Keep&Share format that preserves Keep&Share's unique text formatting and colors on your calendar entries. This is the recommended file type for exporting, importing, copying and backing up calendar data within your Keep&Share account. All other calendar formats will strip calendar data of this formatting information.

iCalendar calendar files (.ICS)

Import and export data from other calendars using iCalendar's .ICS format. iCalendar is an industry standard format for exchanging calendar information. Almost all major calendar programs support it, including Keep&Share, Microsoft Outlook, Google Calendar, Apple iCal, etc. Keep&Share uses iCalendar formatted data in two ways: as a file format for one-time importing or exporting of calendar data, or in a continuous live data format used in live iCalendar feeds. However, because other calendar programs do not have all the features that Keep&Share has, they will not accept all of the data and some of your data will not be visible in the new program, e.g. color coding or more than 100-200 characters of text for events or Day Notes, depending on the program's limits.

Comma Separated Values files (.CSV)

You can import external calendar data using properly formatted .CSV files. A .CSV file utilizes a format that has a comma between each item of information it contains. Keep&Share Calendar supports most .CSV formatted files from commonly used calendar applications such as Yahoo! Calendar and Microsoft Outlook. However, because other calendar programs do not have all the features that Keep&Share has, they will not accept all of the data and some of your data will not be visible in the new program, e.g. color coding or more than 100-200 characters of text for Events or Day Notes, depending on the program's limits.
