The Calendar Edit History provides a history of all edits made to a Calendar by any Visitor to your Calendar with Edit Rights to the calendar. With the Calendar Edit History, you can protect calendar data with real-time backups and recover a deleted calendar entry.

Use the Calendar Edit History to see:

  • Who changed a calendar entry
  • What a calendar entry was before the change, and after the change
  • When a calendar entry was changed

Note: Paid Keep&Share accounts can see up to 9 months' worth of edits and free Basic accounts can see up to 3 days' worth of edits. This does not include our paid legacy accounts.

Accessing your Calendar's Edit History

First, go to the "Customize" screen for your calendar, and click on the click the “Data Management” tab. Then click on the "Calendar edit and viewing history":

This will open the Calendar Edit History, which allows you to search for any edits made to the entries in your calendar. In this screen, you can filter your search by selecting your choice of Calendar, Operations, Users, and a range of dates. You can also choose how many results you would like displayed on your screen (ordered by the most recent date). All of these options can be found in the "Dates" or "Filters" tabs.

You also have the option of seeing the Calendar Edit History for a specific event (rather than a history of all the changes in your calendar) by clicking on the "View History" button in the Event Editor. Learn more about the Calendar Edit History for single Events.

Note: Edit History only available for the past 9 months.

Searching your Calendar Edit History by Calendar Dates

A Calendar Dates search looks for edits based on the date of the calendar entry. If you search the month of August, you will only find edits made to events scheduled to take place during the month of August. This search is ideal for when you're looking for a history of edits to a specific Calendar Entry.

To filter for specific dates using the "Dates" tab in the Calendar Edit History follow the steps in the image below:

Searching your Calendar Edit History by Change Actions

A Change Actions search looks for edits based on what kind of edits were made and who made them. You can also limit whether you're searching for edits made to day notes or events. See the image below:

This search is ideal for when you're looking for a history of edits made during a specific time period. You also have the option of clicking on the "Export" tab and exporting any of your filtered or unfiltered Calendar Edit History.
